Effective nail stick without irritation due to being made of keratin like nail. Rubber end is very effective, but be careful to be gentle with it and make sure its affixed properly. Comes with case. Highly recommended.

This file is more gentle and suitable for finishing work after using the Original files for comparison. Beautiful high quality manufacturing and must-have for finishing work on delicate feet.

Excellent file, first use in bath was amazing with all callouses removed and filed away with coarse size, and finished with the other finer side. If you could only choose one file, this is it. Beautiful colour as well and high quality, etched Czechoslovakian glass. Recommended as gift for girls especially!

Excellent nail files, both sides function well for nails and finishing of toe nails too in the bath with soapy water to rinse files after each pass. Especially the large version. Lives up to its international reputation.

# 1624-439 is excellent both as a finishing comb and cutting comb; for the former reason, due to its deeper slant cut teeth (for coarser, tougher hair), and due to its thinness. The last teeth on each end of the comb are as thin as possible, rounded off as close to edge as possible for best results and cutting. This comb can be used for the rotation-technique, specifically for finishing tight curls/waves in the front of the hairstyle, defining them and ironing out unevenness in the front section, using the fine teeth section, while aligning stray hairs with both sides.

# 1628-401 is good for finishing hairstyles after the aggressive curling/waving stages are finished, as well as for cutting but I used this mainly as a finishing comb to align stray hairs on the top of the head. It's also excellent for tight cuts on the side, its extreme thinness necessitates non-chemical treatment of hair, clean distilled water, and slightly wider spaced, thicker teeth on the finer side in order to permit minimum durability, any thinner and the comb would be too fragile for use. The straight coarser tooth side, allows for stray hair aligning on big waves.

# 4930 is recommended as a standard styling comb, performs excellently in pre-forming/draft stage, and also the later preliminary (prototyping) stage at 85%-95% dryness stage, and then final stage at 100% hair dryness. Functions as a detangler as well, and is robust enough to do so, the spine is very thick, as thick as # 6450 and # 5600 , which is quite a bit more than the standard combs which are thinner and more brittle. It is intended as a all-purpose Stylist comb that follows in the form of standard Japanese barber's combs which do have this exact teeth spacing and shape, this style which seems to be far less common in Europe. The best stage to use this comb and where it shines, is in final stage shaping of difficult hairstyles, especially those of naturally wavy, thick hair types like Asian hair. It is robust enough to handle aggressive waving, curling, twisting and detangling without damaging the hair or the comb teeth, for both male and female, but is more suited to medium to long length hair. When hair isn't forming or pressing together into the shape you want, be aggressive with this comb and various creative techniques to mould the hair into complex shapes. Strongly recommended.

# 5580 is for pre-forming straight parting on the hairstyle, and can also be used as detangler. The spacing allows for precise, angled parts that either flare outwards, are straight, or inwards from the sides, and are important for certain special hairstyles. However, it should be stressed that this is only for pre-forming; after 100% dryness of the hair, the teeth will disrupt the flow of the hair as you comb through for parting, so its better to rely on the coarse section of more conventional double-ended styling combs like # 4930, # 6450, or # 637-445 for post-preforming work. This is a good post-shower comb, its larger in my hand than expected, and the word "Apart" has been removed, stamped only with the number and brand on the fresh stock. To form a curved part on the sides, rotation of comb is easy because of the huge and robust grip area, but considering the narrower teeth, this comb excels in straight pre-form parting generally.

# 5600 is good for the back side of the hair, and is best used in the pre-forming stage of natural waves after hair has been towel-dried to a semi-damp state, and its shape has only been set up to about 75% of its final form, and creating air volume in the hair is not possible at this stage (that must be done at 95% set or after 100% set), but the water is mostly gone, and no driers have been used. This is done with same technique as La Meche, but on a larger scale, the same twisting technique should be applied along the spine of the comb, gently, and an angle is recommended as there is a larger surface area being curled, and the hair breakage risk is lower (but gentleness is still important). Again, this comb is finished to same standard as La Meche, slightly higher than other large detanglers, and the teeth are contoured and rounded better than the others because of its special purpose. It's recommended to purchase # 5600 and # 5530 together as a set to handle all curls/waves, of different size & scale. When pre-forming, please use something proven like Shea Butter or Beeswax, chemical treatments/synthetic colourings, etc. can not only damage the comb by making it brittle but also lead to hairs being unable to handle the pre-forming wave stages.
